Here's a quick and fun summer craft. Cut a pop bottle in half and cover it with squares of tissue paper. I used watered down glue, painted it on the bottle, put the tissue paper on top and painted on more glue when needed. Glue streamers to the inside, add a string and there you go. Warning: Please take down before summer storms rip through...this wind sock, unfortunately, only lasted a day before torrential rains swept it away!
