Over the weekend DR was doing a few odds and ends around the house which included replacing this downspout from the house rain gutters.
Of course the kids latched onto it.
What a toy it was! It was a viking ship, a telephone, a pair of antlers and who knows what else.
They bent, hammered, smashed and thoroughly enjoyed this piece of junk.
The joy of playing with trash even brought a loving sense of teamwork to my boys! HA!
Who knew playing in a gutter could be so fun?
I don't even know why I bother buying toys, my son is the EXACT same way!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my SITS day yesterday!
Our gutters are in shambles. we need new ones too.
ReplyDeleteYahoo must be learning a lot about resourcefulness from her brothers!
I have always been a believer that kids really don't need much for toys. They are quite creative without them!
