Playing in the Gutter

Over the weekend DR was doing a few odds and ends around the house which included replacing this downspout from the house rain gutters.

Of course the kids latched onto it.

What a toy it was! It was a viking ship, a telephone, a pair of antlers and who knows what else.

They bent, hammered, smashed and thoroughly enjoyed this piece of junk.

The joy of playing with trash even brought a loving sense of teamwork to my boys! HA!

Who knew playing in a gutter could be so fun?

  3. I have always been a believer that kids really don't need much for toys. They are quite creative without them!

I'd love to hear what you have to say! I try to reply to every one of them.
